HOWTO: Accessing Forum Settings

The settings page can be accessed by the forum channel owner by visiting the forum page and looking for the "settings" link under the share box.

You can also access the settings page directly by visiting /settings/forum as the channel owner.

Of course, make sure you have installed the the addon through the normal addon installation tools (/apps/edit ).

Channel Zero - Your first Stop

The settings button doesn't appear anywhere. SOmething is screwed up somewhere. I have no idea. I'm getting super frustrated.

The settings link (shown above) only shows up on the Forum page if you are acting as the forum channel itself. It will not display for other users. Also, it ONLY appears on the forum page /forum when acting as the forum channel. It does not show up on the channel page or the network stream.

I know. I was trying to say that the forum page didn't show up in fact the forum addon didn't even show up in installable addons. I completely removed ALL addons and ALLrepos and started from scratch. I have that working now.
